Corporate Philosophy of Kyoei Food
Since its establishment in 1967, Kyoei Food has been contributing to Japanese and global
food culture through manufacturing panko.
We are a specialized panko manufacturer for the usage of industrial and food services
with the corporate philosophy of “Manufacturing panko will make global food culture even
wealthy”.
Our manufacturing base is located all over Japan and has been supplying high quality
panko to meet the demands of our customers. In addition to Japanese customers, we have
expanded our business overseas and have been exporting Japanese style panko to the world
since 1988.
In 2013, the traditional Japanese cuisine “Washoku” was registered as UNESCO Intangible
Cultural Heritage. With the global spread of Washoku, Japanese style panko is also
spreading around the world.

Strengths of Kyoei Food
Panko is used in a variety of foods in various situations, such as deep-fried products
in restaurants, meat balls in the lunch box and many more… Our strength is the ability
to meet these numerous needs.
Kyoei Food has established a just-in-time system which we manufacture and deliver the
volume that our customer need on a daily basis.
Also, we have built up a system to produce a recycled panko using the crusts, which was
cut off from bread loaves, by bakeries during their manufacturing process. This
initiative contributes to the reduction of food loss generated in domestic food
processing, which is our commitment to the SDGs.

In the overseas market, breadcrumb manufacturers (European style panko) and Asian panko
manufacturers are competing fiercely with their manufacturing technology and proposal of
new recipe. We will spare no effort to develop new innovations that meet the global
needs.
Kyoei Food will continue to take on new challenges in order to “Become the No.1 PANKO
company in the world”.
Our goal is for PANKO to spread throughout the world, enriching people's daily meals and
fulfilling their daily lives.
